Fiona Waters was born in UK and studied Medicine at Barts and The London Medical College. She graduated in 1997 having completed a Bachelor's degree in Sociology as applied to Medicine in addition to her Medical degree. She then completed her General Practice training in London and gained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners. She moved to Brisbane in 2004 and worked part time as a GP before moving to Melbourne.
Fiona has been working at Ormond Medical Centre since 2006. She has a special interests in Women's Health, Mental Health and Preventative Medicine but enjoys all aspects of General Practice including being a visiting Doctor to a number of Aged Care Facilities. Fiona has two teenage children and in her spare time enjoys being out in nature, running, walking and gardening.
